Job Deion1. Assist Superintendents in Monitoring of day to day technical operation of assigned Vessels.2. Keeping records of all statutory and class records of vessels in the fleet.3. To survey status on receipt of report and coding of survey report for filling4. Keeping records of new/ future rules/ legislation as received authorities and making available to other superintendents.To monitor performance of ship and keeping the technical reports.5. To prepare estimated accrual for each month and keeping record of it.6. Maintain up-to-date record and files of manuals/ drawings/ instruction books/ superintendent’s inspection reports for quick retrieval and reference.7. In the absence of the superintendent, handle letters/ communications to and vessels and other concerned parties regarding spares/ stores/ repairs/ surveys/ registration8. Keeping the fuel analysis report after receiving by Technical Superintendent.9. In consultation and guidance Technical Superintendents, following company internal procedure and department hand book, to handle Vessel requisitions, to ask for quotations Vendors, carry out cost and quality comparison, seek necessary approvals (following company internal procedure), arrange services and supplies related to Ship’s necessary equipment’s, general services, surveys, spares and Stores etc as per schedule and Vessel requirements. Keeping records of all services, surveys, repair and supplies of vessels in the fleet.10. Keeping all records received Vessels, Makers review reports; assist in preparing / keeping monthly reports of Vessels in Fleet.11. Assist in preparing “Vessel Inspection Reports” by Technical Superintendents, Vessel’s monthly and yearly reports.12. To carry out ad hoc Jobs as assigned by Superintendents / Fleet Manager / Fleet Director.Requirement1. University graduated, preferable in shipping or related studies. Fresh Graduates are also welcomed.2. Proficiency in computer applications, MS Word &ampamp Excel and Chinese word processing.3.Good command of spoken and written English &ampamp Chinese.4. Responsible, positive, well organized, capable to communicate with all levels and work under pressure to meet deadlines.5. Immediate availability is highly preferred.
